"I'm an artist who loves spending time in nature, creating simple, artistic creations to make your home more beautiful. I'm so glad you're here!"
Sampada is a self-taught freelance artist. She started painting and cutting paper professionally in 2020. She loved making crafts and painting from her childhood. She pursued a bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications, Education, and Indian Classical Music. When you step into secondary education, you forget to enjoy your happy times with craft, painting, sketching & focus on a well-paid job.

After 6 years of investment in the corporate world, Sampada rediscovers a love for art and eventually leaves her job to become a freelance artist. She founded the art brand ‘ArtssyZen’ which is her real passion. She has a passion for learning and doing creative things with her hands. She specialises in paper-cutting art, abstract, nature, and landscape paintings (acrylic on canvas).
Artist Statement
"I believe very strongly that art can heal, both emotionally and physically. I often look for inspiration and spend some time thinking about the art before sketching up the final outline on paper or canvas. I love watching a sheet of paper transform into a beautiful piece of art one step at a time. It requires concentration, patience, inspiration and letting go. Each "Small Knock of the Scalpel" brings a single sheet of paper to life. I am fascinated by the possibilities of paper becoming something meaningful."
"Consistent use of patterns and the selection of colours play a very important role in my art. They assist me in communicating the story I am trying to tell. I like decorative patterns but most of the time I prefer drawing them by hand to them more attractive. The feeling of exploration keeps me excited about my work and keeps me wanting to work on it more and more every day."
"I also came to understand that art can be a very powerful way of communicating with others. Therapy via art – gave me a voice… I am hoping that sharing my art therapy journey will inspire others, to take up art therapy to find their voice. I like to listen to other ideas and draw inspiration from old and new artists, friends etc. Looking ahead, I aspire to make papercut art, painting and its beauty accessible to everyone, inspiring fellow creatives to pursue their dreams. I guess that’s one way how we all can grow and live better."
